The SMS and e-mail module for remote monitoring and alarm control applications are MT-020 and MT-021 send static (only text) or dynamic (text and value measured) messages to the monitoring centers or specified phone numbers/e-mail addresses. The messages may be periodic or upon an event specified by the user.
The module may be powered with 9-30 VDC or with an adapter connected to the grid (12-18 Vrms AC). Energy for external sensors may be supplied over the module. The internal battery keeps both the module and the connected sensors operational during interruptions in the electricity supply.
The design features, I/O entries, and configuration tools even with an SMS are among the advantages of this group of modules. 1-Wire inputs allow reading typical ID cards for recognition and authentication purposes. It can be an integrated solution with temperature sensors (PT-100, NTC, 1-Wire), but also with humidity, level, pressure and flow sensors, smoke, gas, motion, impact, or noise detectors. The module has a data logger.
